Introducing myself

Dr. Yen Adams Sokama-Neuyam is a Petroleum Reservoir Engineer and Researcher with research interest in Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Green Enhanced Oil Recovery (GEOR), Flow Assurance and Development of Green Materials for Oil and Gas Applications. Presently, he is a Lecturer and Research Lead at the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the University of Stavanger, Norway. Dr. Sokama-Neuyam has worked on several ground-breaking research problems and collaborated with reputable researchers globally, leading to several publications in recognized peer-reviewed journals. Some of his ongoing projects includes Assessment of Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Ghana for CO2 Storage, Investigation of CO2 Injectivity Impairment Induced by Fines Migration, Mitigation of Barite Precipitation in Petroleum Wells Using Adsorption Technology, Development of Green Biocement for Oil-Well Cementing and Production of Biosurfactant for Stabilization of Nanofluids under HTHP Conditions. He is open to collaboration in these and related areas of research
